NIGHT WORKER
Unity assists your business in complying with the Working Time Directives 1999 by providing medical assessments for all your employees who are classified as Night Workers. For those who work between 11pm and 6am, employment law is more specific on the length of the working day and more protective of the employee. Working against the body’s natural clock can affect a person’s health and there are some employees who will not be able to do nights.

Unity offers a questionnaire for the employee to fill in covering their occupational history, social history and lifestyle, and medical history. Completed questionnaires are reviewed and the employee may be asked to attend for a health assessment. Additionally, Unity can provide basic health screening for each employee on site.
Employers and employees receive an individual report on fitness to work nights.
